Pyrotechnicians must notify us at least 5 business days before any upcoming displays.
Permits to hold displays during the fire danger season and days of total fire ban are issued by the Country Fire Service.
SafeWork SA, the Department of Health and Wellbeing (SA) and the SA Police support the use of aerial firework displays at community events in a COVID Safe way.
Community event organisers should not include the opportunity to see fireworks as part of the promotion of the event – as this may create a risk of uncontrolled congregations outside the event.
SafeWork SA requires the details of any approved display to be placed in local newspapers.
