Mental health impacts
It has been a challenging year for Australian workers. The Australian Government has created a series of evidence-based, easy to use guides to support the mental health and wellbeing of workers and to encourage mentally healthy workplaces during COVID-19.
Many workers are experiencing anxiety and depression relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, employers with employee assistance programs should remind staff how to access them, including over the phone during periods of self-isolation or quarantine.
