SafeWork SA are investigating an incident where a worker was fatally injured after falling from height at a worksite in Port Adelaide.

UPDATE

SafeWork SA confirm a 51 year old man was fatally injured after falling 6.5 metres while working on a commercial business shed roof without any fall prevention in place.

At this stage, SafeWork SA has prohibited access to the site where the incident occurred while the investigation continues and statutory notices have been issued.

SafeWork SA remind businesses of their duty to manage risk of falls at any height under the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012 (SA).
