Furnace 2 of the Slag Fumer at Nyrstar in Port Pirie is back in operation. Investigations relating to an incident with the furnace are continuing.

Investigations relating to an incident at Nyrstar in October are ongoing.
Furance 2 of the Slag Fumer is now back in production.
There are no outstanding statutory notices.

SafeWork SA has been notified of an incident at the Port Pirie Smelter.
A SafeWork SA inspector has attended and is conducting further investigations.
We are unable to provide any further information at this time until investigations are complete.
