SafeWork SA has implemented a range of measures to ensure the health and safety of our staff and the community during the 6 day lockdown.

Due to the state government directive to implement circuit breaker restrictions effective 12.01am Thursday, 19 November 2020 for the next six days, SafeWork SA has implemented a range of measures to ensure the health and safety of our staff and the community.

Help Centre

Our customer telephone services will continue operating but with limited capacity.  Please only call
1300 365 255 for serious incidents and emergencies.

For all other enquiries please email us at help.safework@sa.gov.au. Critical and emergency incidents will be dealt with as a priority and there may be delays to other general enquiries and requests.

Our head office at Keswick and regional offices remain closed to the public.

Licensing services

Our licensing telephone services will be unavailable from Thursday, 19 November 2020 for the next six days and will be reviewed at the end of this period pending further state government advice.

You can continue to access our self-service portal for licensing renewals and transactions.

Compliance and Enforcement

Our inspectors will continue to respond to matters involving serious incidents or fatalities in the usual way. You can continue to notify us of incidents online. For critical incident please call 1800 777 209 (24 hour service).
