The Hon Kyam Maher MLC, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector, has declared the following shop trading arrangements for Thursday, 22 September 2022.

• Non-exempt shops in Greater Adelaide Shopping District (CBD, Metropolitan and Glenelg) can trade between the hours of 12 noon and 9.00 pm
• Non-exempt shops in the three remaining Proclaimed Shopping Districts of Millicent; Grace; and Binnum can also trade between the hours of 12 noon and 9.00 pm.

Please note that non-exempt shops that can normally trade prior to 12 noon on a public holiday (CBD shops from 11.00 am and hardware; furniture; floor coverings; and motor vehicle accessories shops from 9.00 am) must remain closed until 12 noon.

A strict condition of the Exemption is that all employees working during extended hours will do so on a strictly voluntary basis.
