The Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Projects scheme is a major national provider of funding to university-based researchers. The main objective of the scheme is to develop long-term, strategic research alliances between higher education institutions and other organisations, such as government agencies.
SafeWork SA's support for new ARC Linkage projects through its Work Health and Safety (WHS) Linkage Project Support Grant Programme (LIPS Grant Programme) will provide strong leveraging for the funding provided by SafeWork SA.
At the beginning of each financial year, funding of $200,000 becomes available for new projects under the SafeWork SA LIPS Grant Programme. Total funding requested for any single project should not normally exceed $150,000.
South Australian researchers can apply to SafeWork SA for a LIPS Grant Programme grant at any time during the year.
Applications must be submitted using the Application Template (Doc 158kb) in accordance with the Information for Applicants (PDF 32kb).
Strategic Relevance
Applications for LIPS Grant Programme grants must address the priorities identified in the OHSW Research Strategy for South Australia (PDF 266kb).
