The call for WHS Commissioned Research Grants for 2015-16 has closed.
South Australian university-based or independent researchers can apply for Commissioned Research Grants (CRGs) to undertake applied research that helps expand the body of knowledge on the prevention of workplace injury and illness in this state.
$650,000 of combined funding is available each financial year for new projects under all grants programs, including the Commissioned Research Grants.
Applications must be submitted using the CRG 2015-16 Application Template (RTF 171kb) in accordance with the CRG 2015-16 Information for Applicants (PDF 231kb).
Applications for Commissioned Research Grants must be address the priorities identified in the WHS Research Strategy for SafeWork SA - August 2015 (PDF 157kb) which supports all of the nationally endorsed priories in the Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy 2012 - 2022 (PDF 1290kb).

In addition to SafeWork SA's open call for research proposals that address the priority industries and issues identified in the WHS Research Strategy for SafeWork SA - August 2015, and the Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy 2012 - 2022 proposals to address the following specific research topics will be given a high priority:
- accidental injury
- domestic violence
- future work health and safety
- supply chains.
