Clocks back

South Australians should move their clocks back one hour from 3am to 2am on Sunday, 7 April 2013. The end of this daylight saving period keeps South Australia aligned with time changes in other Australian states.



Clocks forward

On Sunday, 6 October 2013 at 3am South Australia's daylight saving period for 2013/14 will start.

 

Extended daylight saving
Following the April 2009 decision by the Government, the daylight saving period in South Australia commences on the first Sunday in October each year until the first Sunday in April of the following year, on an ongoing basis.

Daylight saving periods in South Australia from 2012/13 to 2014/15

2012/13 - 7 October 2012 to 7 April 2013
2013/14 - 6 October 2013 to 6 April 2014
2014/15 - 5 October 2014 to 5 April 2015
