The Automotive Components Manufacturing Industry is part of the SAfer
Industries program.
The role of the Automotive Components Manufacturing Occupational Health
and Safety (OHS) Committee is to make recommendations for industry strategies,
with the aim of improving safety and lowering injury costs within the
components manufacturing sector.
The Committee was set up in 1999 under the SAfer Industries Program.
To date, some of the key programs / products that have been developed
include the Peer Development Program
and the Automotive Components Manufacturing Industry Health
and Safety Kit.
