Health and Safety Induction

To assist employers to implement health and safety programs, the Hospitality Industry Occupational Health Safety and Welfare (OHSW) Committee has developed the Virtual Hotel.

This online safety induction programme was based on the award-winning Virtual Kitchen. Note: the Virtual Kitchen is not able to produce a certificate on completion. All information within the Virtual Kitchen is available from the Virtual Hotel. It is designed to provide an effective and easy means of educating hospitality industry employees - especially young workers and small businesses owners - about managing hazards in the workplace.

Requirements

The Virtual Hotel requires the Macromedia Flash 6 Player to be installed on your computer. If you already have the Flash Player installed, enter the game by clicking the link below.
